By using YardWild, you agree to these terms. YardWild is operated by Erbacci LLC (Wyoming, United States) ("we", "us").
YardWild is a Ring Appstore Partner skill for homeowners with Ring outdoor cameras. It connects to your Ring outdoor camera(s) via the official Ring Partner API and identifies backyard wildlife (mammals, reptiles and amphibians; from 22 September 2026, birds as well) captured by motion events, presenting an ongoing curated timeline. People are never identified: YardWild does not name, count, recognise or describe any person, and never will. From 22 September 2026 these terms permit two changes: YardWild may also identify birds, and a frame may be kept and shown to you even when a person appears in it, so that the wildlife in that frame is not lost. Each change reaches your account as the corresponding release is certified and rolled out; until then birds are not identified and any frame containing a person is discarded before identification and never stored.
You authorize YardWild to access your Ring account on a read-only basis (motion events, device metadata, snapshot images at event time). We never access live video streams, audio, or your Ring account password. You can revoke access at any time from the Ring app.
Identifications are produced by automated AI models running on GPU hardware operated by Erbacci LLC (the animal/person check and the species identification). AWS Bedrock (Anthropic Claude) identifies or confirms the species when a person also appears in the frame and whenever the animal is a bird, and AWS Rekognition and AWS Bedrock are used as a fallback when that hardware is unavailable or returns an answer we cannot use. Identifications are not guaranteed accurate. Confidence scores are provided to help you judge reliability. YardWild is intended for casual nature observation; do not rely on it for any safety, scientific, regulatory, hunting/wildlife-management, or commercial purpose without independent verification.
Our handling of your data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
YardWild is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, accuracy of identifications, detection of every wildlife event, snapshot availability (Ring API may be temporarily unavailable), or push notification delivery.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Erbacci LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of YardWild. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You can stop using YardWild at any time by disabling the integration in the Ring app. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or for fraudulent, harmful, or abusive behavior.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified via email and in-app at least 30 days in advance.
2026-09-29: section 4 now says where YardWild's plan lives: it is added, managed and cancelled in the Ring app, under the terms Ring shows there. Earlier versions said it could be cancelled from YardWild Settings, which has no such control. Section 6 now states that AWS Bedrock also identifies or confirms the species when a person appears in the frame or the animal is a bird. Section 2 states the Ring plan requirement once. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Wyoming, except where mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence grants you the right to bring suit in your local courts.
